The Honolulu Film Awards is now accepting submissions for Features, Shorts, Documentaries, Student Films, Action Sports Films, Foreign Films, Environmental Films, Music Videos, Screenplays, Television Pilots, Experimental Films and Hawaii Films.

Deadlines:
Early Bird Deadline - August 20, 2011
Regular Deadline - November 20, 2011
Late Deadline - January 20, 2012
Extended Deadline - March 10, 2012

Fees:
(Short films are under 50 minutes.  Feature films are over 50 minutes.)
Early Bird Deadline - Short: $30 / Feature: $35                                      
Regular Deadline - Short: $35 / Feature: $40                                           
Late Deadline - Short: $40 / Feature: $45
Extended Deadline - Short: $50 / Feature: $55

Rules and Regulations for Film Entry
DVD's must be clearly labeled with film title, category and running time.

More than one entry may be submitted. Each must be submitted with its own entry form and fee.

All international or foreign films should be clearly marked "No Commercial Value - For Cultural Purposes Only" either on the envelope or the shipping invoice or both.

DVDs and videocassettes and will not be returned.

Entry fee is nonrefundable.

For preview purposes please send on DVD (NTSC preferred).

Filmmaker will assume shipping costs of material and print to the Honolulu Film Awards.

Titles produced in languages other than English must have legible English subtitles.

The selection committees' and juries' decisions are final.

Foreign entrants must assume all responsibility for clearing films and videotapes through U.S. and foreign customs officials.

Honolulu Film Awards reserves the right to make any necessary changes in regulations or scheduling.
