The 2014 Call for Entries is now open.  The Honolulu Film Awards is accepting submissions for Features, Shorts, Documentaries, Student Films, Action Sports Films, Foreign Films, Environmental Films, Music Videos, Screenplays, Television Pilots, Experimental Films and Hawaii Films.

For Digital Entries:
We also accept digital entries via email.  You will need to email us the completed Official Entry Form along with a digital file of your project to info@honolulufilmawards.com.  We can also view your project online on YouTube or Vimeo.

Deadlines:
Early Bird Deadline - August 20, 2013
Regular Deadline - November 20, 2013
Late Deadline - January 20, 2014
Extended Deadline - March 10, 2014

Fees:
(Short films are under 50 minutes.  Feature films are over 50 minutes.)
Early Bird Deadline - Short: $30 / Feature: $35                                      
Regular Deadline - Short: $35 / Feature: $40                                           
Late Deadline - Short: $40 / Feature: $45
Extended Deadline - Short: $50 / Feature: $55

Rules and Regulations for Film Entry
Submissions must be clearly labeled with film title, category and running time.

More than one entry may be submitted. Each must be submitted with its own entry form and fee.

All international or foreign films should be clearly marked "No Commercial Value - For Cultural Purposes Only" either on the envelope or the shipping invoice or both.

Submissions will not be returned.

Entry fee is nonrefundable.

For preview purposes please send on DVD (NTSC preferred), BluRay, or Digital Media File.  We can also view your project online if you provide us a link.

Filmmaker will assume shipping costs of material and print to the Honolulu Film Awards.

Titles produced in languages other than English must have legible English subtitles.

The Honolulu Film Awards does not physically screen the winning films at the Awards Ceremony of Filmmakers Dinner.

The selection committees' and juries' decisions are final.

The Honolulu Film Awards reserves the right to make any necessary changes in event scheduling.

You agree to indemnify us and all of our employees, partners, officers, parent companies and/or subsidiaries, sponsors, and other agents harmless against any and all claims or liability resulting from your entry or participation in the Honolulu Film Awards.

Foreign entrants must assume all responsibility for clearing all projects through U.S. and foreign customs officials.

By submitting your project for consideration into the Honolulu Film Awards you certify that you are authorized to submit said project and agree to all rules and regulations.
